Alexander the Great in Mesopotamia

Alexander the Great was always nosing about in the tombs of old kings during his extensive campaign out east! He and his mob monkeyed about in Mesopotamia trying to fix up some irrigational canals that were clogged with silt and then he moved on to other things. He met an Armenian king who ate camel marrow and he frowned upon it and went on his way.
Susa capital of Elam. They had about three stabs at a small empire. Nebuchudnezzar razed Susa. Elam sided with Babylon against assyria but assyria sent army to Elam and put an end to their alliance. Saul david then Solomon in Palestine. After Solomon his empire was divided up.
